The Light Outreach team is a group of Christians from different churches who are on a mandate to share the practical love of Jesus Christ with the homeless people by meeting their basic needs.
|

| In the UK |
- The Light Outreach team goes out on selected days of the week and weekends to feed the homeless, give out blankets and donate clothing.
- We assist the homeless to find accommodation.
- We refer our clients to appropriate agencies.
- As part of our yearly activities, we go on the street on Christmas day to provide a Christmas meal to the homeless.

| In Ghana |
The growing homelessness of young people in the urban communities has become alarmingly high in recent times. The phenomenon has manifested itself in a large number of young people who have to live on the streets or go into various risky jobs on the streets of Tema and Accra. Most find themselves engaged in the worst forms of child labour owing to the socio-economic conditions such as unemployment, parental neglect, single parenthood, loss of parents, amongst others.
Such disadvantaged has compelled The Light Outreach to be a stop gap between the children and poverty, but we cannot do this alone without the help of you, the ministry and the communities. We are therefore appealing to you, your organisation, your ministry to help us put smiles on the faces of these children. We therefore introduce to you some of our activities.
- We have extended our activities to Ghana in West Africa where we feed the hungry and clothe the needy.
- We sponsor children to come out of prostitution.
- We have a home/refuge that caters for children who are orphans and those that need parental care.
- We provide financial assistance to the less privileged in the society who need medication by paying their medical bills.
- Light Outreach in partnership with Wheels for the World (UK based organisation), distribute wheelchairs, crutches, and other walking aids to the disabled people.
- We organise a Christmas party for street children and disabled people on the streets of Accra and Tema. Another party is organised in a village called Yemeriga in the Northern part of Ghana for the needy children.
